Time is fast, my final project is approach the end. Pass nearly three weeks editting, it will be finish at once, i have a little excitation.
Although caption’s function is explain, but it is also important in movies. The overall caption colour of our final project is difference. It can be say the difference is prominent, the colour of some scenes are dark and some scenes are light, so the form of caption is difficult to decide.
Many Koream movies caption are: white is inside, other colour is outside. I have studied a number of movies, about the colour of caption i found that most used white is inside, blue or black is outside, a few number of outside is used purple or green.
I think the caption colour and the type of film have a little relationship. If the type of film is a horror film, the caption colour use colour, it is not fine, but with more in line with black or white.
My final project is a drama, so whether colour or black and white, that is great.

Today, my final project is nearly completed. I exported one minute to use with presentation yesterday. The presentation in the basement with only a part of students, so not a lot of feedback.
The following is classmates’ feedback with my final project:
Pasitive: 1) Really interesting idea! Good shot composition, and actress.
2) The visual style is nice.
3) Very dramatic story.
4) Sounds like a complex, but interesting story.
5) Lighting is interesting.
Need working upon: 1) A little hard to figure out the plot,
however i am sure the finished piece will make it clear.

3) Try to show story rather than give it away. Subtitles needed for the email shot! Motive?
4) The story needs to joe clearer.
Other comments: 1) Look forward to seeing the final product.

Today, I am working on my final project. In my final product, I want use montage to express. Montage is one of the main narration means and represent means. Film would a series of different places, from different distance and angle, use different shooting ways to put them together to narrate plot and depict character. But if we put different scenes connect together, sometimes it can be produce different meanings. Like Chaplin’s film “Modern time”
In this film, he take the scene of worker enter factory door, and scene of sheep was drived together. This ways make original scene put up new meanings.

Final Project we have finished shooting about a part of UK until now. This week i am also working on my drama. According to our plan formerly, we should finish the first editing in Easter holiday, but a part of drama will shoot in China, so the whole progress will be postponed. Now i can working on the part of United Kingdom. I think the first editing will be completed by the end of April. Owing to the dialogue is more in shortfilm, i find some dialogue scenes of film as reference, because the dialogue’s edit dot of film is very good.

Our group discussed many times together for the final project story. This is very difficult to decide. So now i write the story just a general story:
A man and a women are roles. They have different life style. You can say that they are two kinds of person in a social, one kind of pepple enjoys the leisurely life, they like do something what they interested in, the others are enjoy the quick rhythm, while the story of we talk is compose by these two kinds of people.
They are office mates but they like the parallel line never meet in the space, the man pursue speed, enjoy pleasant sensation. He think the soical is hight speed development, while time to him means money. He hope everyday in his life can faster and faster……
His everyday is such busy, he always come in hurry and left in hurry, he absolutely never consider what happen surround his life.
While she think the world is too big and we are so chickenshit, she wants slowly down to enjoy every minute every second. She hope she can easily catch the pare world, music, gereous dishes in the daily life.
They live in their personal world, no communication, no language……Suddenly a day, because a car accident it changes their relationship, they are not unfamilar likely before, he become to learn more about live under her effect.
Life is continuum, then they understand slow their step to tast scenery along the road.

Our idea is from the movie” LEON”, in the movie the hero have two different natures: cold and warm. He was very cold when he was implement the command. But he also was very warm when he was at home. Althrough the style of story of our final project is not same with “LEON”, but the exhibition of personality is same.
My final project want to express one women through one thing which doctor’s misdiagnosis make she understand: life is short, we should enjoy life.
Our shortfilm’s length is about 20-30 minutes.we are planning to use 2000 pounds to shoot it.
Our plan: About ten days finish the initial process. There will be few more days arranged to making any additional shot as follow. The whole process will be finished before April. The more will be cut and later produced during the Easter time, this process will be finished at 20th of April.

Now, the basic story is out. And I do much research about it. Sometimes if you have completed your plot, then you want to develop it in this side. I feel it is difficult. Only I can do just to improve it to make it more perfect. Like where to shoot it, how to make the story more wonderful, how to shoot scene and otherwise. So I need to think about these now.
Before I seen a MTV of Korea. Now I still remember, because that MTV shoot is very beautiful. Whatever angle or edit, they are wonderful. I have seen a lot of people to imitate it, but I still feel it is the best, nobody can exceed it. Just now I see it again, and I am affected again.

Next it is also a music MTV. Usually I see a lot of all kinds of music MTV, because I like listen music and some MTV is so nice. Although it is only a few minutes, but the story is express so complete. About this music MTV I want to say, I very like some scenes. Like actor and actress were write on the paper to communicate. And the camera across window to shoot action of them. The scene is beautiful. It is very similar like with “friends”. Sometimes they see the naked men at the opposite side through the window.

Our group want to shooting a drama that is about one women have different life style in different country. She hoped her life can faster and faster, she did not like waste time, when she was in China. But she was changed in UK. Because she know a man, he make her realize people should enjoy everyday, because life is short. This shortfilm have two parts, one part we will shoot in UK, another part will shoot in China.
we decide to shoot drama, the main reason is drama’s rhythm is slowly, but the plot opposite compact. This is true portrayal of social appearance and some special person’s life, and the audience could engender the resonance of feeling.

Time is gone fast, Christmas will coming. No matter where you go, everywhere you can see the Christmas atmosphere. Everybody face have melting happiness. Each family is busy buying the Christamas gifts. This like Chinese New Year. The festival is very red-carpet and important in china. Now every time i go outside and see the outside of the atmosphere of Christmas, just want to go home. So i hope i can follow this road to go home when i see such an extension of the road. This extension have a visual impact, have a force of forward.
